Allenberry’s surrounding natural assets include a range of scenic hiking trails, including the mighty Appalachian Trail. Bring your entire family or closest colleagues to learn local stories from our expert trail guides along scenic vista with a trusty Osprey hiking daypack, packed with hiking supplies on your back.

Guided Hiking Details

  • 12 guests maximum for each guided hike.
  • Guests must book their guided hiking trips a week in advance. After that, guided hiking trips are based on scheduling and availability.
  • Guided hiking packages include an Osprey Hiking Pack rental, complimentary packed lunch from Allenberry, bottles of water, shuttle ride and pickup, a map of the Appalachian Trail, and trekking poles. Guided hikes can be modified to accommodate riders of all availabilities. 
  • Osprey Hiking Pack rentals will be available upon request for guests uninterested in a guide at $20 cost.

What an extraordinary weekend our family had at Allenberry. The highlight of our trip was hiking and rock climbing with Cody- amazing experience. Cody was patient, knowledgeable and encouraging, ensuring we had a great time. We enjoyed the beautiful grounds, our kids loved the pool, we had a delicious dinner at The Barn, and a relaxing time by the fire pit. Can't wait to plan another trip to Allenberry!
