Meet Tim Dunsmore

Our talented Lead Pastry Chef, Tim Dunsmore, is originally from Newville, Pennsylvania, and even attended nearby Big Spring High School. Tim competed in the SkillsUSA National Championships as a high school student and finished second place in the commercial baking category, and later went on to graduate from The Culinary Institute of America for Baking and Pastry Arts. To continue mastering his craft, he trained under a French pastry chef at the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel in California, worked as an executive pastry chef at Shippensburg University, and Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Md.

“My love for baking came from my grandmother and having a sweet tooth. One day while working at the Hilton Hotel as a banquet cook, I was put in the bakery to help with desserts and from that moment on I knew I had a passion for baking pastry,” said Dunsmore.

When not in the kitchen, Chef Dunsmore enjoys spending time hiking and roasting coffee- Dunsmore can often be found sneaking cups of Little Amps Coffee from the Breeches Bakery & Cafe.
